Friends,

It is hard to believe it has been 140 days since the coronavirus started impacting our organization’s daily operations. While this time has not been without its challenges, today we wanted to celebrate the good that has happened over the last several months!

It’s only because of the support we receive from generous and caring people like you that we’ve been able to continue to save lives, even in the midst of a global pandemic. Thank you for being a hero to animals in need!

During the First 140 Days of Coronavirus

626 Adoptions!

659 Animals Taken in from our Community & Shelter Partners

631 Foster Home Placements

264 New Foster Homes

1425 Spay/Neuter Surgeries on our Mobile Clinics

(and the launch of a second mobile clinic!)

367 Fee-reduced Spay/Neuter Surgeries made possible through grant funds

I also wanted to tell you about a very special adoption that happened during this time. Shadow was at a rural shelter that was forced to temporarily suspend adoptions. During coronavirus, Brother Wolf has made weekly trips to shelters like these, taking in animals so that they can continue their journey towards adoption.

Shadow was nervous when he first arrived at Brother Wolf. He had a lot of energy built up, and he didn’t know how to calm himself down. He wasn’t able to walk on a leash, and would bark nonstop if someone walked by his kennel. But when you took a moment to just be with him, you found that he had the sweetest disposition. He loves to cover you in kisses!

Our incredible staff knew that with a little work, he would be a great dog for someone. They started daily trainings with him, teaching him basic manners, and getting him on long walks and into playgroups with other dogs to burn off his nervous energy.

Shadow quickly made progress, wanting to please his favorite people and making tons of dog friends. Finally, after 7 weeks of learning to be a good boy, Shadow’s perfect family came along. He is thriving in their home, and now has the happy ever after he always deserved!
