Adoption Process:

Brother Wolf’s adoption process is designed to help make lasting matches between animals in our care and great new families. The process is simple, and easy! The majority of pets live in foster care, so if you see “please contact my foster at…” then you can reach out to the animal’s caretaker for more information.

If the animal is at our Adoption Center in Asheville, we welcome you to drop by at your convenience to look around (we are closed Sunday and Tuesday, but open 10am-6pm every other day, and until 7pm on Friday.) Applicants are asked to complete a simple form – available online and at the Center – which will help our counselors match you with a good pet or make sure the pet you’ve chosen will fit your desires and lifestyle. Once your counselor has approved you (by phone, email, or in person), the animal is usually ready to go home immediately; if the pet is not yet spayed/neutered or has another medical condition waiting for treatment, a Foster to Adopt contract can be completed and the adoption finalized at a later date. Fees are listed below.

Apply today!

Please use the link in the animal description to complete an an application and an adoption counselor will contact you to ensure the pet you’ve chosen will be a great fit with your home and lifestyle. Your adoption counselor will advise you on training, introductions to other pets and family members, and can answer any other questions you might have. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor.
