You may have heard the touching story of Junebug and Magpie earlier this year…Brother Wolf staff found these two sweet cats abandoned outside our adoption center. Written on their carrier was a simple message:

“My name is baby, My mom can’t take care of me anymore. Please help me and my sister find our next home. Thank you.”
Though the pair were frightened, we could tell they had been well cared for by their previous owner. As we pictured the overwhelming sadness this person must have felt as they left behind their beloved pets, our hearts shattered. When people in our community face dire circumstances, it often impacts the animals they love.
