At Brother Wolf, we believe deeply in the power of working together. Every day, we see what can happen when staff, volunteers, donors, fosters, and supporters come together to help animals in need. 

This spirit of collaboration has carried us along on our journey to rebuild too. Because of the kindness and helping hands of this community, our lifesaving mission continues.

And this summer, we reached even further…

As part of our commitment to helping under-resourced and overwhelmed shelters across Western North Carolina, Brother Wolf staff have been working alongside shelter teams to help strengthen the programs and systems that support animals every day. Together, we’ve helped establish and grow foster and volunteer programs, provided training on animal care, medical, and adoption processes, upgraded equipment and technology, and improved spaces and systems to increase impact.

“Brother Wolf’s generosity has made life better for our animals, strengthened our organization, and given us hope for an even brighter future. Thanks in part to their partnership, our adoptions have increased by 56% and foster participation has grown by 76%. They have been a source of encouragement, reminding us that we are not alone in this work.”

Those numbers represent more animals moving into adoptive homes, more people stepping up to foster, and stronger support for animals who need it most.

We’re committed to continuing this work alongside under-resourced shelters so that together, we can save more lives. Because creating a kinder world for animals takes all of us.
