Rebuild Brother Wolf

Join us as we build a vibrant, lifesaving campus to save animals across Western North Carolina! Brother Wolf’s rebuilt campus will allow us to increase adoptions, provide critical medical care on site, expand our support for overcrowded shelter partners, and move more animals from uncertainty into loving homes.

More lifesaving. More Connection. More Impact.

With your help, we’re creating a campus that will transform the lives of thousands of animals for generations to come. You’ve been a friend to animals all your life. This is your chance to help them at a scale that will echo for decades.

Hurricane Helene’s catastrophic flooding consumed our previous campus. A place where our community had helped more than 100,000 animals since 2007 was lost in a single storm. But our animals were safe, thanks to the extraordinary care of our community, who made a full evacuation possible the day ahead of the storm.

And we found a way to keep going – foster-based, scattered, and steadfastly determined to save lives. Donors, fosters, staff, volunteers, and supporters came together to make sure Brother Wolf’s lifesaving work never stopped. The heart of Brother Wolf was never just a building. It’s always been the collective spirit of all of us coming together to create positive change in animals’ and people’s lives.

Our Journey to Rebuild

A New Campus

Together, we’re creating something extraordinary: a modern lifesaving campus that will allow us to help more animals than ever before. This campus on Tunnel Road in the heart of Asheville will strengthen Brother Wolf’s lifesaving work across the region.

More Adoptions – A highly visible, easily accessible, and welcoming campus designed to connect more animals with loving families.

More Lifesaving Medical Care – Expanded veterinary facilities, including on-site surgery, diagnostics and treatment, to help animals with critical medical needs other shelters can’t serve.

More Foster Opportunities – Dedicated space and resources to support our foster network, giving more animals comfort and care in a home.

More Shelter Partnerships – Greater capacity to help overcrowded shelters in Western NC, so that we can give vulnerable animals a safe place to land.

Help us build a stronger foundation for lifesaving with the capacity, infrastructure, and resources to respond when our community needs us most! Explore our campus plans.

Your Gift Builds Their Future
