Compensation

Board member compensation: All Brother Wolf Animal Rescue board members are unpaid volunteers.

Process for Determining CEO Compensation: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue aims to provide fair and reasonable compensation for the Executive Director (CEO) position. The board of directors annually evaluates the Executive Director on his/her performance. The board of directors obtains information about comparable positions and their rate of pay within the nonprofit sector. Through this comparison to industry standards and through the annual performance review, the board of directors determines the compensation of the Executive Director.

Staff member compensation: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue aims to provide fair and reasonable compensation for all employees, contractors, and consultants. The board of directors approves an annual budget, which includes payroll and all other worker compensation items. The Executive Director is then responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits provided to employees based on the budget that the board of directors has approved.
