Friends,

We know our community is facing a challenging time. Now, more than ever, Brother Wolf is here to lift our community up, assist animals who are counting on us, and find creative solutions to the challenges set before us.

We’re anticipating that we will see a drastic increase in the number of requests for help in the coming weeks. Brother Wolf is the largest animal welfare organization in Western North Carolina working across county borders to save lives. People will turn to us now more than ever before. We’re preparing to respond.

We’re shifting our operations in response to COVID-19. All of our focus will be on keeping pets safe. This may mean supplying a family with pet food to keep that animal in a loving home, housing people’s animals temporarily until they are back on their feet or out of the hospital, taking in animals from rural shelters that are overwhelmed, and finding new loving homes for pets whose families have had to sadly part with them.

We need your help as we prepare to respond to this crisis. We’ve already increased our foster home capacity in order to help more animals but the need only continues to grow. If you’re able to foster an animal for the next 4-6 weeks in your home please email foster@bwar.org to join our foster program and serve as a resource for pets and families in need.

As emergency supplies are made available, please send some our way. You can shop our Amazon Wishlist here and have food mailed directly to our Adoption Center. We don’t want to see any animal in our community go hungry. Help us be a resource for them.

Financial donations are critical right now. As so many other businesses and organizations are closing, we’re ramping up because when there is a crisis our work only increases. Our Adoption Center remains open to adopters as does our Spay & Neuter Clinic. We must be here to serve the animals who depend on us. It’s more important now than ever to keep animals safe. Please send critical funds our way today.

In the best of times, and in even more so in challenging times, we must stand strong together for the animals whose lives depend on us. Join us!

P.S. Animals are facing a crisis and Brother Wolf is prepared to respond. Help us save lives. Send in your urgently needed donation today, thank you!
