Chance was found hiding under a porch, crying and shaking so hard his whole body trembled. He was Lost. Terrified. Alone.

It took 13 hours of quiet sitting, gentle coaxing, and steady patience for him to finally believe he was safe. Imagine the bravery it takes for a puppy, who has every reason to fear humans, to take a leap and find a kind stranger to help.

Chance was covered in demodex mange, had almost no fur, and a painful flea infestation. But he also had something else: a spark. The tiniest flicker of hope that things could get better, that he might survive.
