Wookie
I just wanted to thank y'all AGAIN for bringing Wookie into our lives! As we approach our 1 year anniversary of having Wookie, I thought we'd share some of Wookie's firsts!
These are photos of Wookie's first camping trip, his first trip to the ocean (should have seen his reaction when he tried to drink the water) and his first major hiking trip!! He did GREAT on the hiking and camping trip, though he wasn't so thrilled with sharing our campsite with a couple of peacocks.
Adopt a Pet
Our community adoption center, located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, is open seven days a week (Monday-Saturday from 8am-8pm, Sunday 8am-6pm) for you to visit with many cats and dogs looking for homes. Since many animals live in foster homes and not at the adoption center, please use the contact information below to ask about a specific pet.

- Many cats and kittens, and some dogs and puppies for adoption at PetSmart, 150 Bleachery Blvd, Asheville, from 12-4pm.
- Dogs and puppies for adoption at Putts for Pets at Sweet Tee Mini Golf, 800 Brevard Rd (in the Biltmore Square Mall), Asheville, from 2-5pm.
