Thunder
"Our little daughter had been talking about the “big” present on her Christmas wish list for months. I had done some research and found that Brother Wolf had a great reputation for pet adoptions. My wife and I planned on taking a trip to PetSmart on Adoption Saturday in December to see how our daughter would interact with the cats. She was unaware that we had already purchased a cat carrier in the hopes we would find that special addition to our family. When we arrived at PetSmart, there were cats of all sizes, colors and levels of playfulness. After looking over a few of the animals, we met one of the foster parents, Tonya. We told her that we were looking for a cat to adopt that would fit into our family and interact well with a 4-year old. Tonya said she had just the cat. He was about 7 months old, had a very calm disposition and an active purr box. He was named Thunder since he was found with his siblings during a storm. Although we wanted a young kitten, we decided to let our daughter hold him in the private cat room to see how they interacted. It was a perfect match right from the start. Within minutes my wife and daughter were smitten with Thunder and we adopted him on the spot. Over the past three months, Thunder has easily adapted to our family. He enjoys chasing cat toys all around the house with our daughter. Yet, he also likes sitting in laps and purring (like he’s doing right now as I type this). In hindsight, I’m glad we went with an older cat and not a young kitten. Thunder’s foster parent, Tonya, was able to observe his personality as he matured and match him perfectly with our family’s needs. Thanks Tonya!"
