Shiloh
Hi my name is Shiloh but you may remember me as Mist. I was adopted from Brother Wolf in June of 2010. After my adoption I traveled (by car of course) all the way from the Blue Ridge Mountains to Charleston SC with my forever Family. Once safely inside I absolutely refused to leave the house to venture outside, and it wasn’t just the humidity that scared me. The neighborhood was filled with so many sights and smells that were totally unfamiliar to me. Within a few short days my big sister and very best friend, Miko (she’s an Akita), taught me how to be brave and adventurous; she showed me that the world is one giant play ground created just for us. The Ocean!! Talk about a good time!! Who knew that chasing sea gulls while jumping waves could be so much fun? My parents still aren’t sure of what breed of dog I am and have heard everything from Cattle Dog to a Boxer and I even hear people say that Miko and I must surely be litter mates. Personally, I think that is just because we both have pointy ears, charming personalities, and are always attached at the hip and shoulder. I am almost full grown now and I must admit that I am filling out nicely. Can you believe that I almost weigh 70lbs? My parents tell me that I am a very sweet girl an am filled to the top with love and kindness. I constantly let them know how happy I am by thumping my over sized tail against the floor (or the couch, or the wall). Recently I have discovered that my favorite sleeping position is in the bed, between my mom and dad, on my back with all four paws straight up in the air!
Please tell all of my old friends at Brother Wolf I say “hi” and my foster mom too. Thank you again for taking care of me when I was just a little pup.
Love Shiloh
