Can Your Dog Play/Stay?

Age requirements: 5 months old

Immunizations requirements: Dogs must be fully vaccinated with DHLPP and Rabies within the past year. Bordatella should be within the last 6 months. Flea and tick free.

Behavioral requirements: In order for dogs to participate in play time, they need to pass a temperament test. If your dog does not pass the temperament test, they are still welcome to stay at Pet Soup and will enjoy other activities and special time with their human friends.

Spay/Neuter requirements: All dogs must be spayed/neutered in order to participte in day care/play time. Unaltered dogs will be allowed to stay at Pet Soup but cannot take part in play time. We strongly urge everyone to have their animals spayed/neutered for health and behavioral reasons.

Our location: 31 Glendale Ave, just off of Swannanoa River Rd., near the Asheville Mall. Our phone number is (828) 505-3440.

Requirements for Daycare: Please see the age/immunization/behavioral/and spay/neuter requirements in the column to the left. Your dog must also be in good health, friendly to all dogs, and generally love to play. We accept dog selective (not friendly to every dog) dogs and will give them one-on-one time if they do not mingle well with all the dogs. All dogs must wear a quick release collar with their name and phone number on their tags.

Please bring your dog's own food so their tummy doesn't get upset and any medications that need to be given. What happens if your dog get sick or injured? Our daycare counselors are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. The guardian will be called. If it is an emergency, we will take the dog to the vet immediately.
