Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off of Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm and Sunday 8am to 6am Give us a call at 828-505-3440 for additional information.
We invite you to bring by Fido or Fluffy for a session of preening with one of our professional grooming staff! Your pet will look it's best, and funds raised by our grooming salon directly benefit homeless pets.
Many of our foster dogs from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue will be residing at our Adoption Center. And boy, could they use a comfy bed, since they're far away from home. Please consider donating a Kuranda Bed to one of our homeless dogs. It's as easy as clicking on the link below!

Adopt a Pet
Our community adoption center, located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, is open seven days a week (Monday-Saturday from 8am-8pm, Sunday 8am-6pm) for you to visit with many cats and dogs looking for homes. Since many animals live in foster homes and not at the adoption center, please use the contact information below to ask about a specific pet.

- Dogs and puppies for adoption at Putts for Pets at Sweet Tee Mini Golf, 800 Brevard Rd (in the Biltmore Square Mall), Asheville, from 2-5pm.

Second Chances Thrift Store
We are pleased to announce that the Second Chances Thrift Store is now open right next door to the Adoption Center! Find great deals at Second Chances Thrift Store and every dollar you spend goes towards animals in need. Open Monday thru Saturday, 10am - 6pm; Sunday 1-6pm. Donations of gently used items are gratefully accepted at the thrift store during business hours or next door at the adoption center after hours All donations are tax deductible.
