Lexi

In January of 2007, Brother Wolf Canine Rescue rescued Lexi, Nemo, and Merlin from an outdoor pen. They were living outdoors, in the cold and snow. Here is what Lexi's owner has to say:

"Lexi was 5 months old when I got her. She jumped right into my lap when we first met, and I knew then that she was my "soul" dog. She already got along great with other dogs because she was in a foster home for a few months before I got her. She is so smart and it took only one or two mistakes for her to understand to use the bathroom outside, she has learned several tricks, and ever since I taught her to speak, she talks to me when she wants to eat, go out to play, and when she realizes she is getting close to home or close to one of her "doggie" friends' houses. Lexi is definitely the smartest and most obediant dog I have ever had. She is an awsome trail-running and hiking partner. She instantly learned to stay near me at all times and is amazing off-leash. When Lexi turned 1 year old, I took her for Therapy Dog Certification, and she passed with flying colors. She now goes to work with me and the kids love her! She is a great snuggler and I love waking up to her puppy kisses! I am so grateful to Brother Wolf for rescuing Lexi because I can't imagine her not being with me!"
