Joy

"I first found out about Brother Wolf Canine Rescue through an ad in the paper about a dog. The dog I originally contacted BWCR about had already been adopted to a home, but a couple of weeks later, I received an email email about another dog that Denise and Janine wanted me to come look at. My mom went to look at the dog for me, as I was out of town caring for a sick relative, and she told me the dog was perfect for me!

I told Denise that I wanted to adopt the dog, and came back to town to meet the sweetest and most loving little brown dog a person could imagine! We named her Joy because she finds joy in everything she does and we find joy in her.

Since adopting Joy, she has taken and graduated from puppy and beginner classes at the Asheville Kennel Club. She enjoys playing fetch with her stuffed toys, chasing squirrels, eating treats, and playing with her sister cats around the house. She loves to go walking at Carrier Park, shopping anywhere that allows dogs, and going to visit family and friends. She recenlty had her first birthday party in August and had two of her dog friends come over for homemade dog cake. Joy is loved by everyone that she comes into contact with and she has definitely found her "forever home" I can't imagine life without her!"
