Doc
Doc was rescued from a high-kill shelter south of Asheville that still uses the gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We pulled him just in the nick of time! When Doc arrived at Brother Wolf Canine Rescue, he had heartworms. After spending many hundreds of dollars for his treatment and many months in foster care, with great restrictions, a healthy Doc was placed for adoption. He was very lucky to be adopted by a family who loves him very much!
"Doc is, without a doubt, the best companion anyone could imagine! Joining us earlier in the year, he's been a resident for almost 10 months, and "it" just keeps getting better! Our lives are enriched and more joyful since his arrival and his 6 female feline "sisters" agree! 4 of the 6 absolutely adore him! And Doc is patient and attentive - even allows them to share his dinner (almost unheard of).
Imagine?! Attached photo is Doc with his Daddy sharing some morning sunshine. Life is GOOOOD with our Doc!"
