Chance

I just wanted to send you a recent picture and update on Chance. I adopted a female mix named Pixie (the other white and brown girl) from Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue a few months ago as a buddy for Chance and then I was fostering Eveleen (the fawn girl) and I couldn't give her up lol. Chance has been so fabulous with them. Eavie was an abuse case and he has taught her how to enjoy life like a dog should and how to play and that people can be good. He is doing very well and he is the biggest love bug/ momma's boy ever. He sleeps in the bed with me most nights but sometimes prefers the couch in the living room (I think so he can keep an eye on the door and windows). He has had several play dates with friends dogs and everyone is just amazed at how well he does with any dog he meets and how well behaved he is and how well he keeps an eye on me for his hand signals. He will watch me from the far side of a yard and come when I call him. I don't know if you remember his weight but he was 47.5 lbs when I adopted him from you and he now weighs a healthy 62.5 lbs since he's grown and filled out some. I got my yard fenced in so he now gets to run outside and play as much as he wants to. The only time he has to be crated is when I'm at work because he does occasionally get a little destructive (he likes to eat my blinds for some reason lol) but other than that he has free roam of the house and NEVER gets into anything. I have accidentally left the door open to the spare room where I keep their food and he won't even get into the food bag. He is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and he is very easy to take care of although he is now spoiled rotten. Oh and he continues to be a perfect gentleman with kids of all ages as well and even tolerates them tugging his ears or "patting" his face a little too hard. He makes me smile every day and is a perfect example of what a bully breed really is. I wish more people could see this side of the breed and maybe they would understand that these are really sweet dogs and make wonderful family pets.
